Thailand enjoyed their most glittering Olympics at the Athens Games four years ago when they won three gold, one silver and four bronze medals.

Thailand's futsal (five-a-side) team secured their second win at the AFC championship yesterday when they hammered Indonesia 11-0 in their Group A game at Nimibutr Gymnasium. Anucha Munjaroen scored four goals while Sermphan Khumthinkaew and Tanakorn Santanaprasit added two goals each during the landslide victory.

SENTOSA : Thailand's sweet-swinging Chawalit Plaphol added another feather in his cap when he surpassed the US$1 million barrier in career earnings after the conclusion of the Pine Valley Beijing Open on Sunday. Chawalit's tied 35th finish at the Pine Valley Golf Club in China's capital city saw him take his career winnings to US$1,002,284 and made him the seventh player from Thailand, and the 21st overall, to reach the milestone.
