Following the success of "The Imaginary of Buddhist Art" exhibition, which attracted many art lovers and collectors two years ago, a second exhibition of the same title will mark the Buddha Jayanti celebrations.
The Imaginary of Buddhist Art II will be on show at theOP Garden shopping complex on Charoen Krung Soi 36 from tomorrow until Aug 9 from 10.30am to 8pm. The opening reception is tomorrow at 6.30pm. This time around the "The Imaginary of Buddhist Art II" will showcase more than 50 paintings, drawings and sculptures by 23 leading artists, including Panya Petchchu, Worawit Supajanya, Rearngsak Boonyavanishkul, Watchara Prayoonkum and Natikorn Chinyo.
Many of the artworks portray dedicated monks who are respected for their good conduct and their role in helping spread Buddhist disciplinary practice and the Buddha's teachings to the world.
The works are a tribute in reverence of the goodness and gracefulness of Buddhist monks.
