Bentley's fastest-ever saloon

Second-gen Flying Spur gets the 625hp 6.0-litre W12 from the Speed versions of the GT coupe and GTC convertible

It appears every new Bentley is the "fastest-ever"...

Yeah, it has become quite a habit for the Crewe boys to try to make headlines for their new offerings.

I agree with Disc 2. Do we really need cars that powerful that populate the environment. There is another article about the BWM X6 that is made to be highly powerful. What is the point of having all that speed and power when you cannot use it to the maximum on public roads during normal driving conditions. You will need a private racetrack.

Why not develop cars that make use of electric power and greener energy. Sure they aren't very powerful. But if every manufacturer was to following the eco trend, then maybe in the future they would be.

No one here likes the nanny state, but at some point soon the horsepower and speed of these vehicles is getting so excessive one can reasonably ask why they are allowed on public roads. Other than a substitute for real masculinity, what legitimate need or purpose does a 570 HP vehicle capable of 250 KPH serve?
