Sorry for the injured, hope they will recover quickly and fully.

How many more death and injuries does the country need before these billboard atrocities are removed and forbidden nationwide?

The billboard is inside the government house compound. Is it comercial billboard? or is it the billboard of the portrait of some dignitary members?Does Thailand(Bangkok) has any ordinance for size of these unsightly and unsafely placed billboards all over the country?I doubt that if there is but never been implemented.

I guess the children could not be taken to hospital if needed as the ambulance had to be on standby as per protocol for MPs only.

As I've stated so many times before, public safety is a non-issue in this country

Strong wind didn't cause the accident, a large billboard probably improperly and unnecessarily installed did the job. These over sized and ugly blights should be taken out period as they cause problems every year.
