CANBERRA - The planned yellow-shirt protest against the reconciliation bill on Wednesday is unlikely to hurt investment in Thailand, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said on Tuesday.

"Everyone wants to see the country move forward and we have to create confidence among investors," Ms Yingluck said.
"As for the mass gathering tomorrow, we have to understand that the economy and politics are two separate issues because political activities take place within the parliament while people can express their views within the framework of law."
Ms Yingluck, who is on an official three-day visit to Australia to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between both countries, will return to Thailand at 11pm Tuesday.
