AIS (Advanced Info Service Plc), a leader in the mobile telecommunications industry, not only commits to conducting business in accordance with the principles of good governance, transparency and fairness, but also shows its goodwill to all by practicing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
In 2014, AIS launched a special project – “Beautiful Sound By AIS” – that invited Thais to share happiness with hearing impaired people. Participants were asked to take photos or record movie clips expressing New Year wishes and sentiments to the hearing impaired, so they could still get the message of joy. All photos and clips were posted on Facebook or Instagram linked with hashtag #aisbeautifulsound during 24 December 2014 – 16 January 2015.
AIS donated 10 baht for each New Year wish to the foundation for the deaf under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen, so enhancing the greetings from Thai people nationwide with some supporting funds.
Since its launch, in just a few weeks, there were nearly 2 million views of the video clip inviting everyone to join in the campaign.

The “Beautiful Sound By AIS” campaign got great feedback and through it all, AIS was thrilled to donate 2 million baht to make a brighter life for the hearing impaired.
