 Dream on!

Might get a bit cheaper than a typical tourist but that's about it.

As the posts on this forum indicate 'foreigners get a special price' and it sure isn't cheaper.

Honestly, why you think that foreigners cannot get special price?
As, i write some weeks before that Thailand economy start to go down. Look the Thai baht right now....

And, do you really think IMF going to borrow that huge amount of loan to Thailand, just like that?

Well, maybe they already learn from Europe.

We need money now in Thailand, only thing is to get that from investors outside of Thailand. We are ready to give something, but ultimately we just surviving.

I (a foreigner) recently visited Sriracha Zoo and paid more than Thai people. Why is it that only Thais get "special promotion"?
Or conversely, why does foreigner pay more?

Try buying property in Laos. Why would you want to be in BKK, traffic, pollution, big-city-careless locals attitude. One thing I like is food in BKK...lot of place to eat! You must be 65 and older bc Laos will waive your Visa.

It is true that in a era of globalization, Governments need foreign investment, policies are made to attract foreign money, incentives are given, promotions are made, but what I think that all these should not be made at the cost of local, they have first priority to share and enjoy the natural domestic resources.

\\ ////. I didn't know that ZxMx. Interesting. Can't hurt to check it out. Just a little story. I took my Thai wife to Vientaine for a bit of shopping. She did the shopping. When she came back, she said that she was sure she had been cheated. "Welcome to the world of foreigners", I replied. LOL

The answer is very simple - Foreigners CANNOT buy Houses OR land in Thailand so that solves the problem of "special prices.
