It was a feast for fashionistas at the recent I Love Bangkok by ThaiThai event at Central Chidlom, with 15 brands presenting their spring/summer 2015 collections.

The event was well attended by loyal fans of each of the fashion brands who were eager to see limited-edition items under the “love Bangkok” concept.

Welcoming guests to the event in the ThaiThai zone on Central Chidlom’s second floor was Central Department Store vice-president of merchandising Tapida Norpanlob and public relations director Siriyos Devahasdin na Ayudhya.

Glimpsed among the well-heeled crowd were style icons and socialites Intira Thanavisuth, Varavut Laohapongchana, Achira Worawongwasu, Sittharmanin Susamawathanakun Poonsapmanee, Boonyapha Bencharongkul, Chulalux Piyasombatkul, Patcharavipa Bodiratnangkura, Thananya Thanakitamnuay and many more.

Also prominent were designers such as Bangkok Fashion Society chairman and owner of Asava and ASV by Asava, Polpat Asavaprapha, Milin’s Milin Yuvacharuskul, Anchalee Vicksitnakakul of Anchavika, Kwankaow Svetavimala of Kwankao, Anisha Attaskulchai of Lovebird, Vatanika Patamasingh na Ayudhya of Vatanika and Patinya Kiewkong of Patinya.

Many of them were joined by their muses, usually superstars, actors, actresses or celebrities who represent the unique character of each brand, such as Piyawadee Maleenont, Bussakorn Wongpuapan and Pechaya Wattanamontri.

Guests were welcomed by TV show host Piyawat “PK” Kempetch, after which the fashion show began, with international models parading the 15 brands’ spring/summer 2015 collections in an endless swirl of movement.

The show ended with a party where guests were invited to have fun with games and prizes.

Polpat brought in his second brand, ASV by Asava, for the first time with a scarf featuring the brand’s icon and three popular colour palettes of Thailand, as well as a limited-edition Asava tote bag.

Ek Thongprasert, the owner and designer of Curated By Ek Thongprasert, presented a specially designed brooch inspired by an auspicious flower to reflect the Thai tradition of presenting flowers to house guests.

For Milin, it was the heart in the event logo that launched her idea for a limited-edition sleeveless top made with high quality satin embroidered with diamond sequins in a heart-shape pattern. On closer inspection, the word “Milin” appears in the pattern.

Among the range of collectable fashion items were a swimsuit by Kloset with a special print, a quilted bag from Anchivika in the shape of cropped shirt, a chain belt by Lovebird featuring the word ThaiThai and a black and white cloth bag from Vickteerut. n
