The brunette beauty ambassador brings her glamorous and magnetic persona to the TV and print ad of the third Modern Muse, of which the original, launched in 2013, was inspired by the complexity of a modern woman with her energy and femininity expressed in a contrast of sparkling florals and sensual woods.
The 2015 reinterpretation draws inspiration from the glamorous and more provocative side of a confident and sexy woman, whose signature colour is red.
The fruity floral Oriental scent was designed with a dual-impression structure of ripened roses that reflect boldness and a velvet cream accord that exudes a provocative sense of style and dramatic presence.
"It was not just about capturing the scent of red, it was about capturing a state of mind, a vibrant, dramatic attitude," says Karyn Khoury, The Estée Lauder Companies' senior vice-president in charge of fragrance development.
"This woman inspires others through her unwavering confidence, glamour and sophistication. She lives her life to be noticed -- and every ingredient in this scent was carefully selected to reflect that."
The ripened roses refer to Bulgarian rose and rose centifolia with complementing notes of Bourgeon de Cassia, raspberry, pink pepper and saffron.
Madagascar vanilla, ambrette, vetiver, patchouli, magnolia and jasmine then constitute the velvet cream accord of the perfume bottled in a glass flacon, whose red cap is inspired by the iconic bow on Estée Lauder's first fragrance, Youth Dew.
Launched for the festive season, the Modern Muse Le Rouge collection also includes a shimmering body lotion and limited edition make-up products.
Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks come in red tubes in three bold shades: Envious, Red Ego and Carnal, whereas the nail lacquer matches in Envious.
Likewise, an eyeshadow palette entices in a red compact to comply with the collection's dress code.
