Pheu Thai Party list MP Niyom Worapanya said on Monday he will not seek to move his own amnesty bill up the House agenda for deliberation as an urgent matter.

Mr Niyom  said this when asked if he would exercise his right to make the request now that House Speaker Somsak Kiatsuranont had put his draft legislation on the House agenda for the March 27 meeting.

He said that before asking for the bill to be treated as an urgent matter he would have to get approval from the Pheu Thai Party and the coalition whip.
