A majority of people do not believe the government's pledge to solve corruption problems will become a reality, Abac Poll revealed on Sunday.
The poll was carried out between July 8-13 on 2,442 people aged 18 and over in Bangkok, Samut Sakhon, Lop Buri, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Prakan, Kamphaeng Phet, Phetchabun, Chiang Mai, Yasothon, Sakon Nakhon, Surin, Buri Ram, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Ratchasima, Phatthalung, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.
Asked whether the government's announcement made after the last cabinet reshuffle to combat corruption will succeed, most or 73.5% said it was unlikely, while 26.5% said otherwise.
