Floodwaters overflowing from the Chao Phraya River have submerged areas in Pak Khlong Talat and the Memorial Bridge pier. The flood also destroyed a protection wall to the north of Don Mueang Airport in the morning and another dyke in the afternoon. The surging water has inundated the airport's car park, where many people have left vehicles in the hope that they would be safe.
