Buriram PEA Lift FA Cup

An extra-time goal from Frank Acheampong secured the Thaicom FA Cup for Buriram PEA at Supachalasai stadium as the Thai Premier League champions beat Muang Thong United 1-0 last night. Acheampong, nicknamed “Ghana’s Messi”, struck after 108 minutes to secure a league and cup double for coach Attapol Bussapakom’s men, who now have the opportunity to win a domestic treble when they face Thai Port in the League Cup Final in February.
