A section of the aborted Hopewell elevated train system collapsed on to part of the Bang Khen railtrack in Bangkok's Chatuchak district on Thursday morning (Mar 1). State Railway of Thailand governor Yutthana Thapcharoen confirmed inbound train services had been suspended but would resume in a few hours. He added that work crews would need about a week to clear away the debris. There were no injuries. Photos by Rattaseema Pongsen.
