Phra Samut Chedi festival

A piece of sacred red cloth is wrapped around the 30-metre-high pagoda at Phra Samut Chedi in the central province of Samut Prakan. The cloth will be kept there for one week as part of a ceremony to celebrate the sacred chedi on the fifth day of the 11th lunar month which has been held for 186 years. — Pattanapong Hirunard
