Indonesia's largest taxi operator is looking to spread its wings by expanding operations into Asean and beyond.

Around 15,000 Blue Bird taxis ply Jakarta's busy streets. The company reports receiving up to 19,000 calls per day. AFP PHOTO/ADEK BERRY

The Blue Bird Group aims to collaborate with local partners in Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines and Singapore from 2014, according to a report in the Jakarta Post.

used them many times in Jakarta and never had a problem of any kind.....they would never work in Thailand
