Two unidentified men were killed by gunmen in Narathiwat's Rangae district on Thursday morning, police said.
Their bodies were found along with two motorcycles on a road to Ban Hae village in tambon Bongo of Rangae district.
According to witnesses, the two men left the villlage to go hunting in a nearby forest early in the morning, each riding a motorycle. They were returning home with a boar they had shot when they were attacked by men armed with rifles and a pistol.
Both of them were shot and died on the spot. The killers stole their shotguns and fled.
No identification documents were found on them. Police were investigating.
