Man survives gang hanging

CHON BURI – A man escaped death when he was thrown off a bridge with a rope around his neck by a gang of men purportedly acting on the order of his boss, reports said.

Police said they received reports on Sunday that a man had been thrown off a bridge near the Chon Buri-Rayong bypass.

At the scene, police found a broken nylon rope tied to a ledge of the bridge.

Does any one think that the authorities will get to the bottom of this ?
Or will it be just another big headline that fades into the black.
Bangkok Post, will you provide us follow up coverage as details become available.

Unfortunately it seems to be completely normal in Thailand to threaten people with death and to kill people for whatever reason. I guess part of the problem is the police. If someone does something wrong and this is reported to the police maybe they will react and maybe they will catch him and maybe release him on bail and maybe maybe put him into jail years later.
So people use lynch “justice” to punish wrongdoers. And often they get away with this because again the corrupt Thai police do often nothing. When will the Thai people will be ready to demand an active and corruption free police force?

"So much senseless and incomprehensible violence in Thailand nowadays. What went wrong?"

Easy answer, bangmodker: pretty much everything.

This sounds like something from the narco wars in mexico. They should bring the employer in immediately. If true this is absolutely horrendous.
