CHON BURI – The Pattaya police chief suspects the person who fired a shotgun through his apartment window on Wednesday was a policeman unhappy with the new rules he was enforcing at the district police station.

A shotgun was fired at Pol Gen Suwan Chiewnawin’s apartment on the ground floor of the police apartment complex on Wednesday.

The shot passed through the window and hit a cabinet. No one was in the room at the time.

As my wife says as an excuse to any similar nonsense, "This is Thailand". Unbelieveable. Probably worried about the gunman losing 'face'.
