PAO head gets bail in Peera murder case

Uthis Chuchuai, accused of masterminding the killing of Songkhla mayor Peera Tantiseranee, has been freed on bail of 3 million baht.

Police arrested Mr Uthis, the president of the Songkhla provincial administration organisation (PAO), at his house on Tuesday evening.

On Nov 7 last year, Peera was killed in a shower of assault rifle bullets on Nakhon Nai Road. About 50 spent shells were found at the crime scene.
