An American man was arrested at a guesthouse in Pattaya for allegedly enticing a 13-year-old girl to have sex with him, police said on Tuesday.

Police named the suspect as Neal Rosenthal, aged 38.

I agree that girls 16-17 years old can pretend to be 18+ and show a fake ID, or their sisters ID, but I doubt there is any 13 year old girls anywhere in Thailand that look 18+.

Maybe she lied to him, but he'd have to retarded not to know she wasn't 19. Years ago I saw an obviously underage dancer in a Patpong bar. The dancer sitting next to me told the girl was 13. The dancers themselves made the owner fire her, threatening to go to the police if he didn't.

It sounds this man was jus ramed-up, I thought the girl was the one enticing the man to have sex with him not the oher way around. And even if the man enticed the girl,why does she go with her at once? I also think that the girl is a prostitute working in that area where tourist men are visible. Tourist must really be cautious and carefull with this "modus operandi"
