Chief justice: No bail for Kamnan Poh

The murder case against Somchai Khunploem, alias Kamnan Poh, is final and the Criminal Court will send him to prison, according to chief justice Tawee Prachuaplarp.

The Supreme Court in March 2012 upheld the 25-year jail term given to Somchai, 73, and former member of the Chon Buri Saensuk Municipality Council Passakorn Homhuan, 44, for masterminding the murder of tambon Tha Samet Kamnan Prayoon Sitthichoke at a wedding party on March 9, 2003.

Mr Tawee said after police finished questioning him, Somchai would be sent to the Criminal Court.
