Police have arrested a noodle shop owner and charged him with involvement in the murder and butchering of a young bank clerk whose dismembered body was found in plastic bags in a dry canal in Chai Nat.
Pradit Suwannaphak, 36, was arrested at his house in Muang district, Uthai Thani, in the late hours of Wednesday, several hours after he was questioned, taken into custody and then released.
The dismembered body was found on April 18 and later identified as Kriangkrai Khwan-on, 24, from Bangkok. Police said the victim's head was missing.
