Cabbie who robbed Iranian caught

Samut Prakan police on Friday arrested a taxi driver who allegedly stole cash and valuables worth about 300,000 baht from an Iranian man and his Thai wife a week ago.

Manotia Farkas, 52, and Pimpawee Kumpaeng, 50, told police that they got into the taxi at Suvarnabhumi Airport and were heading home in Bangkok's Rama II area on Sept 13.
