Superstar Thongchai "Bird" McIntyre says the photo on the internet of himself apparently supporting Pheu Thai's candidate for Bangkok governor Pongsapat Pongcharoen was doctored.

Thongchai: Not backing anyone

The singer made the comment on his Facebook page yesterday after a photo of himself carrying a mobile phone showing the banner of Pol Gen Pongsapat and his running number was circulated on the internet.

Not supporting anyone but still portrayed as supporting the PTP candidate.

This must be honesty PTP style, strange but not surprising.

Any dirty trick in the book and any gutter style campaigning seem to be good for PT and its cronies...Wonder from which fugitive they learned this despicable behaviour from???
