RAYONG - Thirty people, including tourists, were injured early Sunday when a speed boat collided with another vessel near Ko Samet.
According to reports, the speed boat was ferrying a group of tourists from the popular tourism resort island in the eastern coast of Thailand.
The speed boat hit the vessel, which was moored just a kilometre from the coast, at about 1.40am. The vessel was carrying supplies and equipment for the 'Samet in Love' concert.
Twenty-six injured passengers were taken to Rayong hospital, two to Krungthep Rayong hospital and two others to Sri Rayong hospital.
