Bangkok Expressway and Metro Plc (BEM) and the Expressway Authority of Thailand (Exat) said the Si Rat-Outer Ring Road expressway will be open for free use from 5.30am on Monday to 11.59pm on Wednesday.
The new tollway links to the existing expressway north of the Mor Chit 2 bus terminal.
But the link between the two lines will not be opened during the trial test run and drivers who want to use the new elevated road have to go through the Khampheng Phet 2 toll gate free of charge.
The new expressway will be officially opened on Aug 22.
BEM and Exat jointly invest in the 32-billion-baht project.
