ADHD medication could cut crime rates: study

- Medication can reduce the number of crimes committed by people suffering from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) by one third, according to a Swedish study released on Thursday.

When comparing the behaviour of adults suffering from the disorder during periods when they were medicated, with periods when they weren't, researchers found that medical treatment reduced the risk of committing crimes by 32 percent.

    Now this is news for lawyers ! "My client didn't mean to kill Mr. Y because he has ADHD".
    ...and also news for deadbeat parents ! "My son needs a disability pension because he can't sit still, and give me more of those stimulants"

    I see more judicial reviews coming our way soon, at least in western jurisdictions.
