Crystal babies 'unsafe' new toy

A new toy, "Crystal Babies", which would be dangerous to young children if swallowed, has become popular among primary school students in Chon Buri province, according to a report in the Daily News.

A reporter was contacted by parents and teachers of a school in Chon Buri's Muang district after the toys were found in the possession of many students.

Crystal Babies are made from a jelly-like substance that expands when put in water, and has similar characteristics to a toy that was banned in the past.

faranginkora Disc#1. You must be talking about something else. Or try leaving it in water for 2 days as the video shows.
Read this too: "The latest warning comes as an 8-month-old infant required surgery after swallowing a superabsorbent polymer ball - a rapidly expanding, water-absorbing ball (Water Balz) that can grow up to 400 times their original size." and more scaring info:

    We live in Korat.
My 8 year old daughter brought some home from school that a friend gave her.
They are only about a centimeter in diameter fully hydrated, and I see no risk posed by them.
Larger ones that might be ingested dry would be a different matter.
