Two beauty clinics raided

BANGKOK - Public Health Ministry and consumer protection police raided two well-known beauty clinics in Siam Square on Monday.

Pasit Sakdanarong, adviser to Public Health Minister, said the raids came after complaints were made to public health officials.

Operator of Nitipon Clinic, Siam square branch, was charged with dispensing drugs without a physician's instruction and fined a maximum 30,000 baht.

Trouble is Dear Thailand. India and other countries also want a big slice of this health hub cake. Be warned ,the other countries are not so burdened with cigarette police , illegal bag searches on the street and other scams that dampen their reputations among the tourists.

Now health clinics have to add a layer of protection money to their cost structure. Great timing.
