Pradit insists hardship allowances must change

About 100 rural doctors gathered at the Public Health Ministry office yesterday to protest against a new public health policy to pay a hardship allowance based on performance.

The doctors wore black as they met public health administrators to demand an explanation and review of the policy.

The rural doctors are rightly rewarded for the sacrifices in areas of work but just wondered how do all these levels measured. Its amazing that the the Thai health ministry is able to do that. Commendable!
