Pheu Thai: Abhisit should resign as MP

Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva should resign as an MP now that the Defence Ministry had issued an order to strip him of his military rank, says a Pheu Thai Party spokesman.

The case in which Mr Abhisit was accused of draft-dodging was closely followed by the general public, who wanted to see whether the former premier had really used falsified military documents as alleged, said Prompong Nopparit.

Because the defence panel had ruled that Mr Abhisit had dodged military conscription and the Defence Ministry had stripped him of his rank and pay, he should resign as an MP to show political responsibility, the spokesman said.

Remember folks, these are the same people who would give their convicted fugitive idol a promotion to general. No double standards, eh?

Disc 46 - To give Abhisit the benefit of the doubt. He may not have had anything to do with the falsified documents, but that doesn't mean he doesn't know or who arranged their falsification on his behalf or excuse their use by him for his personal gain. You have to remember talking in riddles is one of Abhisit's better traits.

According to The Nation (Nov 11th) the Dem. Party spokesman Chavanond Intarakomalyasut said that AV had nothing to do with the falsified documents the Ministry claimed he used in applying for a post of military lecturer, he said the documents were issued by a military agency.

This is to my knowledge the ONLY thing the defense minister has realized...CONGRATULATIONS....now do the rest of your dirty work and strip your boss and hero of his rank because he is a convicted criminal on the run.... Or as your red friends would shout ; no double standards Sukumpol

fact_only D31: It is refreshing to have your "facts only" comments.

It is also just as indicative you will still get a large number of thumbs down or, be ignored.

The TS/PT haters (I dislike them but will not join the hallucinatory anti TS/PT circus) do not want to read your facts. Facts will deny them their delusional, dominating position both in the comments sections and in the political arena where right wing politics dictate.

They like using cliches with lots of adjectives. The usual creative writing kind of stuff as opposed to the journalist.

Disc 38 - He asked in writing after they had set a date for him to appear. He didn't appear, he didn't send anything not even his lawyer. Sometime this sort of arrogant stand just doesn't come across well. The only one smearing anyone is Abhisit himself.

Is Prompong Nopparit a native from Komodo island ?
