US Secret Service startled by lizards

United States Secret Service agents were taken aback on seeing large water monitors wandering the grounds of Government House during security inspections yesterday ahead of US President Barack Obama's visit.

They mistook them for the ferocious, carnivorous komodo dragons found in parts of Indonesia, a Government House source said.

Thai officials calmed their nerves, explaining to them the creatures are relatively harmless.

Cartagena would never have happened if a bloke was the Sec of State. Poor ole Hilary thought she was surrounded by a department full of slick willy's.

@Discussion 1 I seriously hope they did, the silly witch hunt over Cartagena was a disgraceful embarrassment for any American with enough common sense not to care what adult men do on their own time. There is no reason for a secular government to snoop into the private affairs of its employees, and the claimed justification of possible blackmail is bordering on paranoia.

...Upon learning lizards are safe in Thailand, the Secret Service immediately went and unleashed their lizards in the Nana, Soi Cowboy and Patpong areas to test the safety. They did indeed find that lizards are safe and even welcomed in those areas.
