Tavor rifles found in Kanchanaburi

KANCHANABURI: Ten Israeli-made Tavor assault rifles were found by the side of a road in Tha Maka district early Sunday morning, according to a Post Today report.

The weapons were found by the side of Tha Rua-Phra Taen Road in tambon Ta Rua, about 500 metres from the local police station’s checkpoint.

A resident discovered the weapons in a sack and alerted the police.

Obviously ready for pickup by Redshirts if they were "called".

How many Tavors had been taken from soldiers during the 2010 unrest? All these guns are marked and numbered, should be easy to trace them. ...But visibly even more easy for some 'good citizens' to at once draw conclusions the found was linked to the PS rally. Anyway, I'm afraid we, the general public, will never been told where these Tavors came from. Might maybe be embarassing for the 'peaceful reds'. Just some intox maybe? Business as usual?
