Thailand, Myanmar to discuss Dawei zone

Thai and Myanmar officials will meet on Friday to discuss the development of the Dawei special economic zone, said Transport Minister Chadchat Sittipunt.
The discussion is intended to prepare information for Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and Myanmar President Thein Sein, who are due to meet soon to discuss the development.
The two leaders were earlier scheduled to meet in Dawei on Dec 17 to talk about the development but Myanmar announced a postponement on Friday, a government source said.
