Poll: Pheu Thai still the favourite

Most people taking part in an Abac opinion poll say if a general election was held today they would vote for the Pheu Thai Party, followed by the Democrat Party.

The poll released on Sunday was conducted between Jan 10 and 19 on 2,182 people aged 18 and up in Bangkok, Chanthaburi, Lop Buri, Pathum Thani, Chon Buri, Phichit, Phetchabun, Chiang Mai, Mukdahan, Nong Khai, Chaiyaphum, Surin, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Phatthalung, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

To the question of which party they would vote for if an election was held today, 42.8% said they would go for the ruling Pheu Thai Party, 26.5% for the Democrat Party and 30.7% for other parties.

    30.7 percent vote for parties other than PT or the Dems. However, when they cast their votes they do understand their parties will join the PT to form a government. This way their representative might become a minister. If they side with the Dems they end up with nothing. So if you look at it with that in mind the PT would have 73.5 percent of the vote. You are assuming they would be on your side but, you know what they say about assuming.

    This poll is a" mind conditioning" they want us to believe as early as now that this party is most favorite by people. So that when election come and they lost, they will say they were cheated or they will say the unpopular team won because of fraud etc etc... blah blah and protest/rally again declaring election failure....
