Australian jumps from Surin hotel

An Australian man was seriously injured on Tuesday after jumping off a hotel balcony in downtown Surin in Northeast Thailand.

Anthony J Scarrabelotti survived the fall from the hotel balcony and was taken to Surin General Hospital with serious injuries, Pol Lt Col Prakit Luangvisai, deputy inspector of the Surin police station, said.

Mr Scarrabelotti, 45, is from Victoria state in Australia, according to his driver's licence found on a sixth floor  balcony of the building.

    I do think that the people jumping from the condo or hotel is too many, just like in the vdo game Lemmings. It is bad example to the young people who think it is ok to jump off building when they have fight with the parent.
