Pongsapat seeks reinstatement

Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen, who lost the March 3 Bangkok governor election, has applied for reinstatement as a deputy chief of the Royal Thai Police.

He said he submitted his letter of application to Pol Gen Adul Saengsingkaew, the police chief, on Thursday morning, after the Election Commission on Wednesday endorsed MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra's re-election as Bangkok governor.
