Thailand, Laos to consider single visa

HUA HIN - Thailand and Laos will explore the possibility of single visa entry at a joint meeting of cabinet ministers to be held in May.

Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul said on Wednesday that the one-visa issue and facilitation of cross border transport of goods by rail from Thailand to China via Laos will be among items on the agenda for the joint cabinet meeting to be held in Chiang Mai.
