The Constitution Court has filed a police complaint against former senator Ruangkrai Leekitwattana for allegedly trying to undermine the court's credibility.
The court office complained to Crime Suppression Division police yesterday after Mr Ruangkrai questioned the legality of the appointments of Wasan Soypisudh as president of the Constitution Court and judge Chat Cholavorn.
The office said the appointments were proper and legal. The fact that Mr Ruangkrai took the trouble to petition the Ombudsman, the Senate, the Department of Special Investigation and speak to the media over the issue showed the former senator had intended to tarnish the reputation of the judges and the court, it said.
