Democrat leader Abhisit Vejjajiva and party MP Suthep Thaugsuban have been served summonses requiring them to report to the Department of Special Investigation agency on May 14 to acknowledge additional charges of murder and attempted murder in connection with the 2010 political violence, the DSI chief said on Wednesday.

DSI chief Tarit Pengdit said the Democrat Party had asked DSI investigators to deliver the summons naming Mr Abhisit and Mr Suthep to the party headquarters. This had been done.
