- +

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra will lead her new cabinet in declaring a war on corruption after a cabinet meeting Tuesday, government spokesman Teerat Ratanasevi said on Monday.

The permanent secretaries of all ministries and directors-general of all departments, and those in equivalent positions, will take part in the anti-corruption declaration at 2pm.

Mr Teerat said Ms Yingluck is confident her cabinet members are not only capable of running the administration of their respective ministries but also willing to join forces to combat and suppress corruption to create a new image of the cabinet in order to win worldwide recognition.
