Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra wants integrated development plans to drive economic and social prospects in the northeastern provinces of Mukdahan and Yasothon.
She raised the proposal during a trip to Mukdahan to discuss development options in the provinces yesterday.
Ms Yingluck said government agencies will have to integrate their development plans. This would include plans for transport development, water management schemes and agricultural zoning.
