- +

Public prosecutors on Wednesday filed an extradition request in court for a Canadian suspect wanted by US authorities in connection with a penny stock scam.

Gregory Curry, 63, is escorted to a courtroom in Bangkok yesterday. He and a fellow Canadian, Sandy Winick, 55, are accused of scamming more than $140 million from investors worldwide in a penny stock fraud.

They also requested that Gregory Curry, 63, who was arrested in Prachin Buri's Kabin Buri district on Tuesday, be detained until his extradition.
