Oil Fund levy on diesel to rise

- +

The energy policy management committee has decided to raise the Oil Fund levy on diesel by 0.60 baht a litre, Suthep Liumsirijarern, director general of the Energy Policy and Planning Office at the Energy Ministry, said on Tuesday.

Levies on other kinds of fuel remain unchanged, Mr Suthep said.

As a result, the levy for diesel will increase from 0.80 baht to 1.40 baht a litre. The move will not affect the retail price of diesel, which remains unchanged at 29.90 baht per litre, he said.
