Censure debate is lacking drama

Democrats so quiet, it's almost a case of, 'Censure debate? What censure debate?

It has been perhaps the most low-key lead-up for a censure debate in Thai political history, with noticeably scant media attention of the event in parliament.

Abhisit: Has had little to say

Outspoken members of the opposition-core Democrat Party said the atmosphere was far from normal and the mainstream media have hardly reported anything about the censure debate, which runs from tomorrow until Tuesday.

Whoever lead the Democratic Party, AV or CL, the party will suffer defeat and to gain power by VIOLENCE only. It is time to QUIT or suffer more humiliation and retaliation from the people of Thailand who will always think AV is a trouble maker and at what price will he pay - his life or MONEY - to buy politics, engage people in war of words by paying them...............DP, give up, pack up and QUIT for the sake of THAILAND, your own country soil that you were born here. Respect the wishes of the people. Friend, country men, let there be peace and harmony in THAILAND.

It is just a question of time until the silent majority will rise up against the fugitive's new dictatorship.

I was once a supporter of the Democrat party under CL. I do not believe AV could ever fill this man’s shoes. CL’s integrity and wisdom are to be respected. AV could learn a few lessons.

Really a sad political scenario when the biggest opposition party is in such disarray and poorly lead by a leader who has never work in his whole life and continue try to scheme himself into a premiership. I sincerely hope the DP will get their act together and seriously challenge the PT in the next election.

Disc 7: Chuan complained there were too much signs and advertisements in English at Don Muang Airport. So, he did not complain about too many Chinese signs and advertisements in Chinese? Of course not...it's obvious why...

Having never been educated overseas, CLP is the perfect example of a Thai gentleman. When he was PM, he was known to be polite, spoke softly, did not offend other people and in return expect people to treat him like a phu yai. When reporters asked him a question about something, he would just say: "I have not received a report about it". Of course, Thai ammat liked him very much for this perfect Thai attitude. Being educated purely in Thai environment, CLP didn't like foreign language and complained there were too much signs and advertisements in English at Don Muang Airport.
