Prem calls for unity in New Year address

Political conflict just 'difference of opinion'

Reconciliation is the means to move the country forward, Privy Council chairman Prem Tinsulanonda said in his New Year address to military leaders yesterday.

Defence Minister Sukumpol Suwanatat yesterday led top military commanders to pay a courtesy call on Privy Council chairman Prem Tinsulanonda to deliver their New Year wishes.

Speaking to military commanders, led by Defence Minister Sukumpol Suwanatat who paid a courtesy call on him at his Si Sao Theves residence to express their New Year wishes, Gen Prem described the long political conflict in the country as a difference of opinion.

    It seems like mister Prem is protect by 112 and only positive comments about him will be published. Since only 1 comment was posted so far it seems like there is not much positive things to tell about him!

    The army has been protector of the people and was on the side of the people for a very long time. But now, people lost their trust and the army must first win back the sympathy of the people . Only Gen Prayuth can do that.
