Poll puts Sukhumbhand in the lead

GOVERNOR AHEAD OF OTHER CANDIDATES IN CITY RACE, BUT MOST VOTERS UNDECIDED

Bangkok Governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra is leading in at least one poll ahead of next month's election, but the majority of voters remain undecided.

SITTING PRETTY: MR Sukhumbhand’s popularity seems to be robust.

About 24% of respondents said they would vote for MR Sukhumbhand on Feb 17 in a survey conducted by Nida Poll, the results of which were released yesterday.

    A person who is honest and with high morals, tested in serving the people will always stand above the rest. I firmly believe on the principle that " You can not put a good man down". Yes. a lot of accusations will come out soon against this man, but we know these people and they are far much worst than the person they are accusing. The survey is just ramdomly done and the result is interesting. It only shows that their are still hope for the people of Thailand.

    Sure, he's in the lead now. It's not a very impressive lead and plenty of time for his opponents to throw some more mud. Sukhumbhand is a big target and at least some of that mud will stick.
