The United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) leader told government supporters gathered on Aksa road that another rally would be held on the day that the Thawil case is adjudicated by the Constitutional Court.
The date for the ruling has not been set. In fact, the court has not decided to proceed for the time being as the judges are waiting for caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to defend the Sept 30, 2011 order before deciding whether they will continue with the case.
The prime minister has 15 days from last Thursday to make her case.
The court decided unanimously last Wednesday to take up the petition filed by a group of senators seeking the disqualification of Ms Yingluck on grounds that the transfer order was illegal and a conflict of interest.
Their reasons were based on the verdict of the Supreme Administrative Court on March 7 that ruled the order was unlawful and ordered the cabinet to reinstate him to his old post.
Mr Thawil was transferred from the post of National Security Council chief to advisor to the prime minister three years ago. He decided to take his case to the Administrative Court.
The caretaker government resolved on March 25 to return him to the position.
Mr Jatuporn said the next demonstration to support Ms Yingluck will be in Bangkok but will not be near a planned rally by the People's Democratic Reform Committee on the same day to prevent possible clashes.
The UDD used Aksa road on the outskirts of Bangkok for their rally, which began Saturday. They will disperse on Monday.
