Finance deputy permanent secretary Supa Piyajitti has been selected as a new member of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), replacing Jaidet Pornchaiya whose term expired at the age of 70, reports said.
The selection committee - which comprised Supreme Court president Direk Ingkaninant, the committee chairman, Constitutional Court president Jaroon Inthacharn and Supreme Administrative Court president Hasawuthi Withitwiriyakul - held a meeting on Wednesday to pick Mr Jaidet's replacement from 14 nominees.
The committee voted 2-1 to select Ms Supa.
The selection committee will forward the selected nominee to the Senate speaker for endorsement.
